Gendon Polymer Services is a specialty compounder based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. Gendon specializes in Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) compounds for wire and cable applications.

Gendon Polymers has deep experience and world-class knowledge in the design and processing of insulation, bedding and jacketing compounds. Gendon’s polymer compound product line encompasses thermoplastics and thermoset-based compounds, Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) compounds and Low Smoke Non-Halogenated (LSNH) compounds.  Gendon offers radiation cure (EV beam) as well as peroxide (CV and Mold Cure) technologies for the North American and global marketplace.

Gendon’s compounds are designed for challenging wire and cable applications in military/shipboard, transit, data communications, power and utility, oil and gas, and other industrial markets. Oil and Gas

GenNex® EU Ins is a low smoke halogen-free thermoset compound designed for use in London Underground (LU) infrastructure cables as primary insulation and jacketing applications.

Genflam® NYC TS-R is a low smoke halogen-free thermoset compound designed to meet New York City Transit Authority TS-LS specifications for LSZH jackets.

Industrial Power and Utility

Industry cannot run without power – and much of that power is supplied by electricity. This power is supplied through a series of cables, typically installed in cable trays throughout an industrial facility. The cables installed in these trays must be specifically designed for resistance to mechanical, chemical and physical damage that may occur in an industrial environment.

GenNex® PP 25 is a low-smoke, halogenated thermoplastic compound designed for use in category cable applications as an insulation to replace FEP in one or more of the twisted pairs.

Military/Shipboard

High performance is essential for military and shipboard applications, as cables are subject to moisture, corrosion and other harsh environmental factors. Gendon has long standing expertise and success designing jacket and insulation materials that require MIL-SPEC certification.
