Polyamide (PA 66) and (PA 6), also known as nylon, are thermoplastics that delivers strength, temperature and chemical resistance, which allow them to perform under intense conditions. Nylons are macromolecules with repeating units linked by amide bonds.
In addition to PA 66 and PA 6’s strength and durability, they can be used as a metal replacement. They are easy to process, modify and recycle. Nylon is commonly compounded with fillers or minerals to achieve additional properties at a lower cost without sacrificing performance.
