Plastomers are polymer materials that fill a gap between elastomers and plastics. They are hygroscopic, opaque elastomeric materials that have the aesthetics and soft-touch properties of rubber, but deliver the performance and processing ease of plastic.

Plastomers for custom applications, include thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), thermoplastic olefins (TPO), thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU) and thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPV). They allow the application to obtain the desired feel and touch attributes, without the shiny plastic look. Plastomers are easy to use and work well in injection molding, compression and extrusion processes.
