Copolyester Materials

Copolyesters are a strong, widely used thermoplastic resin. They are hygroscopic, clear, amorphous materials that form when modifications are made to the polyesters. Copolyesters retain mechanical properties, such as strength and clarity even when exposed to chemicals that typically affect other materials, such as polycarbonates (PC).

Copolyesters are effectively used in the design of both high-volume, low-cost parts, as well as more expensive component parts. Durable and shatterproof, copolyesters are reliable for applications that require long-term stability.
