With excellent flow and mechanical properties, plus excellent processing characteristics, Arnite PET & PBT are applicable in high precision components for many industries. Both polyethylene terephthalate and polybutylene terephthalate are hydrolysis resistant—they are dried prior to injection molding. Yet, PET requires an even lower moisture content than PBT. Arnite has exceptional dimensional stability and high strength and stiffness at ambient conditions because of low moisture absorption.

By avoiding possible corrosion problems with metallic contacts, Arnite PBT achieves excellent high-temperature performance without the need for heat stabilizers. Plus, it’s very low moisture absorption ensures high dimensional stability for safe and reliable parts.
