REACH in EMEA

To serve our EU Customers, our supply strategy is sourcing from EU located suppliers when feasible. This minimizes our risk, as well as our customers’ with compliance issues within the supply chain. We support our customers with the following services:
1. Review composition of Supplier Materials for identification of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs)

• The SVHC candidate list is updated periodically. Based on composition information provided by our suppliers, we routinely reply to customer requests to review the composition of our supplied materials for the presence of SVHCs.

2. Provide Supplier SDS that are REACH/CLP Compliant

• We depend on our suppliers on compliant SDS, and we keep them within our MSDS system for customer use.

3. Dedicated Email address for REACH Related Queries (See Contact Page)

• Nexeo Plastics REACH experts support our customers with dedicated Email addresses, see our contact page for specific details on where to send a REACH query.

4. Provide supplier contact information for our customers so they can request information on the REACH registration status of products.
5. As a distributor, Nexeo Plastics depends on our suppliers to provide the REACH status of the products that we distribute. We will work with our customers to facilitate contact with our suppliers.

REACH in North America

As a general business practice, Nexeo Plastics does not intend to register substances under REACH. Many of our suppliers are already required to register under REACH. If you have supply chain needs that involve shipping to the EU, or sourcing within the EU, Nexeo Plastics is willing to work with you on a case by case basis to determine what options will meet the regulatory requirement needs.
We also support North American customer needs for REACH compliance as described below:
